BIO
Jess Lynch is a visual artist and experimental filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Her time-based work emphasizes an unfolding, contemplative experience reflecting cycles of time, rhythms of life, abstractions, de- and re-constructions. Much of her film works evolve out of direct experimentation with materials and are informed by her interests in psychology, consciousness, and the occult. Many finished works become raw material for live video mixing in collaboration with musicians and other artists. Jess holds a BFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media at Massachusetts College of Art and has exhibited her work at numerous festivals, galleries, and DIY venues.
